Yippy Yip Yip Yip!!

The looooong, and I do mean LONG....wait is ovah!!! I am proud to mention that I am the parent of a very, and I do mean LAZY, baby!! Nothing is wrong with him!! Yippy!! He is just really stubborn (like his parents) and wants to do things at his own pace. Today he had an appointment with neurologist and she found nothing wrong. He has started physical therapy and is NOW finally pulling himself up and climbing up our stairs (after I tempted him with a chocolate doughnut). I am still probably going to post here and there though. Lately, there is just so much crazy people bothering us...(I have a few good stories, like how we called the police on a drunk harassing us at home and 4 cop cars showed up. And how my brother-in-law decided to call my mother-in-law at work and decided to threaten to kill her co-workers. Fun times follow us!) Also, I get to start work again! 2008 is proving to be a very interesting year for Jonathan and I. But in the end we prevail and that's all that matters, right? Thank you all for your cares and concerns. I've been busy trying to keep my 5 yr old and my 1 yr old busy. And trying to get that baby to walk! I haven't been able to tell each and everyone of you thank you for everything. Yes, thank you all sooooo much and I love you all!!!

I'm going crazy.

Sorry I haven't been around posting much. It's just one damn thing after another. And now the center of my focus is on Baby Nicky..again. I took him in for his check-up and told them he is STILL not walking. And then I get this, "You should have brought him in at 15 months! If babies don't walk at 15 months there could be a problem". Well thanks! The last doctor told me not to worry and he's just probably lazy. Long story short, I have to take him to the neurology department at the university because they think he might have cerebral palsy. Why do they have to tell you what your child "might" have? I don't want to know! Don't make me more freaked out than I already am, right? Just say, 'take him here to get him checked out. We'll get a better idea why he's not walking'. Moving on. So I'm trying to get him an appointment and I still can't get him in...even with the doctor's referral. Nice. I'm going around in circles trying to get him in, but it seems like nothing is happening. Except making me more depressed. I've cried a few times over this. There is a little tiny bit of hope that I do clench tightly to. After Nicky's appointment, I visited my mother and she introduced me to a woman that has kids the same ages as Nate and Nicky. Her and I got to talking and she told me about her friend that went through the same thing I'm going through. Nothing was wrong with her friend's son. He was just lazy and/or slow, and didn't start walking until he was almost 3! I was thinking...Good God! I don't know if I could carry Nick around everywhere until he was three, but if it meant he was not sick I could deal with it. Anyway, that's what's up. I'm not going to be posting, I don't really feel up to it. But when things start moving smoothly again blog wise, I'll bug you guys and tell you. Take care!! Love you all!!

Poor Baby

I would love to post all the wedding pictures, but Baby Crawfish is really, really sick. Last week he had a small fever, wasn't eating and didn't want to do anything except lay in my lap. Thursday I took him into the doctor and they said he has ear infections in both ears and a throat infection. Great. My poor baby. Got some antibiotics and thought everything was going to be okay. Four days after taking his antibiotics he still has a fever and his eardrum burst so its leaking out gooey cuteness. And he was crying more than before. So I took him to urgent care Easter night, 10 minutes before the urgent care closes. The doctor said his anitbiotics weren't working so she gave him a stronger antibiotic. His ear should be fine, but she told me to make an appointment with an ear, nose and throat doctor. . I did and took him in. The antibiotic seemed to work and he will be okay. So, sorry for the break in posting. I should be back next week!!

Holy Moly

Dadgum, I haven't been around in a loooong time! Sorry! Just been plenty busy! So let me catch you up. Christmas was good, we all made out like bandits. I carried on a tradition to my kids that my parents did to my sister and I. Late Christmas Eve when we are about to go to bed, we get a present and it's always pajama's. Nice soft brand new washed pajamas. I always love it and passed it on to Nate and Nick. To my surprise Nathan thought it was great. Yey! And New Years was fun. The New Year is already off to a great start. Baby finally started to CRAWL....lazy ass. But he is mobile!!! That is 1 step closer to walking. He also has been cranky due to all four of his one year molars coming in. And I finally let go of his baby hair. He had this Jonathan Taylor Thomas hair pre-teenager days thing going on. Here is a before... and after..Once he got his new do', his outlook on life changed and he said, "Look out world! Here I come! I'm on da loose!!" Those exact words. Here he is with his do and crawling..very nice.
And there's fat Token with her green mouse in the back ground. In other news, I'm still getting stuff done for the wedding. I'm excited. I have everything pretty much done. And then.....Jon's mom starts to freak out. I'm kind of getting annoyed with her, but I keep reassuring her everything is okay (I gave her planning of the rehersal dinner, but I don't even think she has planned that!). Our wedding is nice, not like normal weddings, but it fits us and our budget. The one important thing we wanted was to be alone, just the two of us, for a week. We planned our honeymoon first. And then what ever money we had left was for the wedding (with help from Ma & Pops). I have never had Jonathan all to myself for a whole week! We always had the kids around...I don't know what I'm going to do with no kids for a whole week! Well, I'll have plenty to do. I will make sure of it. Anyway, thats about it. I'll probably not be around like always...but its for a good reason! Lately, I've had some wedding "situations" and go off on rants. It's not me being crazy, I've been a real good girl! It's all the other idiots around. But maybe I might shower you with some funny rants. Peace out Homies!
