My Fav movie!!

Thanks to Jenner for helping me remember....I was going to post a youtube thang from So I Married an Axe Murderer. But since I have the memory of a goldfish, I forgot. And forgot again..and so on and so forth. So here I am. Posting a youtube thang. Oh and let me tell you why it's one of my favorite movie...I mean besides it's funny. When Jon and I get old we are soooo going to be Stuart & May Mackenzie (Mike Myers parents in the movie). I promise you that will be us in 30 yrs! Catch up!

Nothing much going on here. I've just been busy trying to get presents for everyone and their damn mom. And busy worrying about the wedding. I have already had 2 nightmares where I was an hour late to my own wedding, looking like shit, and screaming at everyone to get dressed and ready. And then I walk out and all the guests already left. Then I really freak. And it felt so real, I wake up thinking I'm already married and that was my wedding. I already had a problem with the invitations...UPS decided to send them to the WRONG address. I'm very thankful for Connie, the lady they shipped them to. She called us and told us what happened right away. Thank you Connie! I don't know you, but I already love you!! As to you, UPS...your outfits make you all look like walking shits. Thanks for almost giving me a heart attack! You don't do that to a control freak! If you guys want to know my personality just watch Elliot Reed from Scrubs...especially when she's planning out her wedding. She even gets coo-coo and tries to plan her own bachelorette party, yup, I want to do that too. Moving on..

Today is my older brother's birthday today!! woo hoo!! He's 38!! He's a Sagittarius through and through!! And he's the coolest big brother too. When I left my abusive ex, Chris came with me to pick up the rest of my stuff and to kick my ex's ass if he tried to pull some bullshit with me (because Christopher knows karate!!). And even when he and my parents were going through this big fight, he would still talk to me and tell me things were alright (& it was I, that brought them back together & stop fighting...that's how we middle children roll...haha) But I hope he is having a great day because he does deserve it!!

Bleeding my life away...

This is too crazy not to post...but it's kind of gross. Okay..so last Friday night..when we all sign on and talk.. Jamie said she "started" Wednesday..and then Halli said she "started" Thursday (right?) . Well after I had to get off my computer..went to the bathroom and guess who started? I was 5 days late...but after I had Nick my cycle decides not to come on time...great. I just thought it was interesting that we all started around the same damn time!! Gross I know...TMI, I know! But it's my blog so you can go suck on it!

My Best Friend...

I have 3 best friends. Laura, Ashlie and my pain in the ass Leo, Lindsey. Actually, Lindsey finally dumped that p.o.s and has gotten a lot better...like 10x times better!! I was starting to pull away from her because she would call me up crying, asking what should she do (in regards to her shit eating boyfriend) and then not even take my advice and continue getting hurt...and then call me crying again blah blah blah blah...over and over, the cycle wouldn't stop. But now, all is good. Actually, great for her. She's doing a lot better and seems like she's back to her old self!

But this post isn't about her. It's about my bestest best friend, Laura. I've met Laura when I was 9. We actually known of each other when we were 8. I would see her at recess STARING at me and think WTF is up with that girl? What's her damage? Why is she staring at me? So when I caught her staring I would stick out my tongue or give her the stink eye showing her I didn't appreciate it! So fast forward 1 year later when we had the same 4th grade teacher. Our desks sat side by side, so we talked and realized how cool each other was. One day I asked her why she always stared at me last year. She answered, "because your hair was short, I didn't know if you were a boy or a girl." I guess she didn't like my Wilson Phillips hair cut...you know that blond chick that had the short hair? I thought I looked good! I still think I looked cute when I see pictures from back then... Anyway, Laura and I stuck by each other through the rest of elementary school, middle school and high school. And when I was 19, she saved me from myself. However, she still doesn't know that she saved my life.

We were in sync with each other too, we both dated losers...both of our boyfriends cheated on us and both were abusive, but I was lucky to get out when I did. But Laura stayed with her loser until she met Daniel. She left him for Daniel. Thank God she did! It's funny too because if she didn't do that, I wouldn't be with Jonathan. Daniel is Jon's best friend just like Laura and I. And I met Jon at one of Daniel's party. We didn't hit it off right away, but I slowly came around when I was ready. So Laura and Daniel got married and started trying for a family (so that our kids can grow up with their kids). Well I'm happy to say that Laura is pregnant! Yippee!! I wanted another baby...except without being pregnant and having to take care of a newborn all over again. So now I get my baby, but then I can give him/her back to Laura and Daniel. The one thing I'm looking toward is getting rid of all of Nick's baby stuff and my maternity clothes!! Anyway, July 10th 2008 is when my "baby" is coming! And this post is to my Laura, because I owe her my life and I'm glad she's having a baby because I know she's going to be an excellent mother. She's the nicest person I know and she deserves the best!
